Red Cloud School’s Mission: To promote a thriving community of learners grounded in Lakȟóta and Catholic beliefs, values, and practices that cultivate our capacity to love and serve in a diverse and rapidly changing world. Red Cloud Volunteers serve for 1-2 years primarily as teachers, but also as bus drivers, coaches, and more. Volunteers live in intentional communities with one another and center their lives and service around the pillars of justice, community, spirituality, and simplicity, supporting the Lakota Catholic mission of Red Cloud School, located in Pine Ridge, South Dakota.
