Position Description:

The primary responsibility of the PSS is to assist and respond to clients who engage in challenging behaviors that are impacting their independence and self-sufficiency in the community. The BS works closed with a caseload of clients, their support teams, and the ILO Behavior Services team to support clients through a person-centered, positive behavior medication plan.

A typical week for PSS staff includes meeting one on one with assigned clients for a set number of hours per week, completing data collection, reviewing client documents to ensure competence, meeting with the Behavior Analyst to review the clients’ successes and train on behavioral interventions, and maintaining documentation. In addition, BS staff complete administrative tasks and attend staff meetings monthly.
