About You:
Under relatively close supervision, interns perform a variety of structured and unstructured tasks and assignments that provide both practical experience and broad exposure to the typical tasks and activities performed by entry-level professionals in their occupation/discipline.
YOU HAVE:
Technical skills. Exceptional MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new technical tools and applications.
Attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize for greatest impact.
Great communication skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well both individually and in a team. Strong interpersonal skills.
Experience. Preferred work experience in an office setting.
Education. Recent college graduate or enrolled in accredited 4-year undergraduate program majoring in Product Management, Retail, Marketing, or similar program with 3 years completed. Minimum 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale. Preference in majors within business, product development, or merchandising.
YOU WILL:
Help. Support the Product Development team by working on a variety of tasks and projects relating to scholastic and college product development and maintenance.
Assist. Aid in projects, including apparel color, announcement Rep sample, jewelry product portfolio transition. Assist in product line rationalization.
Research. Review, research, and compile consumer and industry trends. Develop market research testing surveys and analyze results.

Our Product team drives the ideation and development of a product offering that supports our consumers; educators, parents and students alike, in celebrating their achievement with pride. The team is comprised of several product categories including jewelry, stationery, graduation regalia, apparel, and celebratory accessories. This highly collaborative group works directly with Marketing, Sales, Digital & Operations in business decision-making and strategy decisions to support product introductions. Team members are expected to be immersed in consumer data, direct and indirect competitive landscape, and relevant product trends. We proudly manufacture the large majority of our products in the USA by Jostens owned and operated factories. The product team is the driver of the development process and decision making, whilst working side by side with our sourcing team to make the best purchasing and development decisions for the overall business. Update and maintain. Report on social channel performance trends and best practices.

Assist. Help with social moderation, listening, and reporting responsibilities for social programs.
Strengthen. Assist in the execution of social giveaways, contests, and sweepstakes. Other projects as assigned.
