Compiles preliminary numbers for promulgating experience modification, and orders worksheets

Compensation and Benefits
Lockton Companies LLC is committed to offering competitive pay and benefits and complies with all relevant sate/local pay transparency laws. The entry base salary offered for this opportunity may vary, and is contingent upon candidate education, skills, abilities, essential competencies, experience, professional designations, unique qualifications, and geographic location.
Compensation

Base salary: $52,000 USD.
Performance Bonus: This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, based upon the financial performance of the organization and the individual contributions of the Associate.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
Up to three years of Client services experience is required
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required

Position Description:

Associate Account Manager Program

This two-year training program is designed for recent college graduates and combines formal training with hands-on client experience. Our training program provides exposure to marketing, servicing, and renewal of Commercial Insurance accounts in the People Solutions or Risk Management practice.  

The Associate Account Manager training programs will begin in January and June of 2025. Each individual will have the opportunity to become an Account Manager upon successful completion of the program.  

Responsibilities

Participates in negotiations with carriers for new and renewal quotes with oversight
Collaborates with senior staff in selecting new markets for submission and requesting quotes
Helps review new business opportunity information and provides related recommendations to Unit Manager/Account Executive/Producer
Establishes and maintains relationships and interfaces with Clients, carriers, and other vendors
Reviews quotes, binders, and endorsements and makes requests for changes as needed
Receives policy, then updates and completes policy check to ensure completeness
Updates specifications, application, and summary information to reflect changes during the year
Informs Client of any and all changes that may affect insurance premiums or coverage
Inputs Client information into data management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Generates materials for Client presentations and meetings
Creates and sends compliance communications as needed
Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed

Description - External
During our comprehensive, 8-week internship program, interns are exposed to different functional areas of business at Lockton and have the opportunity to interact with many Associates. Working alongside these Associates allows interns to experience our caring and diverse culture, develop business acumen, and grow their technical and soft skills. Each intern is paired with a Performance Coach who helps to guide them through the course of the internship.
The program is very "hands-on" with the intern being included in such activities policy review, client renewal presentations, and onsite client meetings.
In a small group (3-5 interns), solve a real-world challenge facing the insurance industry and Lockton. Present findings and strategies in a formal presentation to Lockton leadership at the end of the program.
Rotate through several weeklong case studies focused on our specialized units within the company. Work alongside leaders to identify solutions to client issues.
