Position Description:
Service Year Volunteers commit to one year of service living in intentional community in Omaha. Volunteers are placed at local nonprofit organizations for their 40 hours/week so individual work experiences will vary. Volunteers live together in provided community housing and work together on community building, simple/sustainable living, social justice issues, exploring spirituality and learning about what intentional community looks like in practice. Volunteers work off of a modest stipend for food and personal items. Details about specific placement sites will be discussed during the application and interview stage.
