Metro Sales is seeking an Account Executive to work out of our Burnsville headquarters to generate new opportunities who is not just motivated by an unlimited earning potential, but also by a genuine desire to help improve local businesses through technology.

What You Will Do:


Work with a supportive, collaborative and fun team of sales professionals.
Work closely with your sales manager to plan and implement strategies to identify opportunities for new business in your territory with unlimited earning potential.
Ability to sell value by helping customers envision how technology can save them money and/or increase productivity.
An affinity for technology so you can use it to solve business problems.
Proven ability to build solid working relationships with a variety of businesses, and an interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry.
Build qualified prospects through cold calling, networking and targeted marketing campaigns.
Work to create strategic proposals and deliver compelling presentations to C-level executives and senior management.
Ongoing and proactive maintenance of existing customer base to identify opportunities to improve and increase efficiencies.
Establish and work towards the achievement of monthly sales goals for hardware, document management software, printer fleet management, and professional services.
Conduct business honestly, ethically, and with integrity, which will develop trust & respect with customers and fellow employees

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 1 year of recent outbound business to business (B2B) sales experience with cold calling and appointment setting experience preferred.
People oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills
Team player with a positive attitude and mindset
Caring about customers, team members and the community
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and passionate for technology
Proven success in a competitive environment
Own a reliable vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

Understand Technology Alignment objectives, as well as the role and function of internal team members.
