Position Description:
The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a residential, sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides services to over 700 individuals who have been civilly committed for sexual offending. MSOP is a national leader in the industry and is committed to providing services on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of clients.
The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is seeking dynamic Clinicians to join our highly skilled and collaborative clinical teams in Moose Lake, MN, and St. Peter MN.
Clinicians and Senior Clinicians ($66,649 – 105,841 annually)
•Providing group therapy and some individual counseling
•Preparing written documentation for internal and external audiences
•Creating treatment plans
•Delivering psycho-educational curriculums
•Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Clinician qualifications include:
•Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field AND
•One year of professional experience providing clinical services, including group and individual therapy
*License not required for Clinician opportunity. Licensing supervision provided by highly skilled licensed clinical supervisors at no cost to the employee.
Senior Clinician qualifications include:
•Master's or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, or related field AND
•Licensure in the State of Minnesota as a mental health professional (e.g., LICSW, LP, LPCC, LMFT)

Position Description:

Treatment Psychologists may be eligible for a hiring bonus of up to $2,500!!
Primary responsibilities include:
•Providing psychological treatment services, such as targeted individualized therapy and specialized group therapy
•Completing psychosexual assessments
•Consultation with a multidisciplinary team regarding psychological assessment results, diagnosis, effective treatment strategies, and risk management (e.g., suicidality)
•Crisis assessment and intervention related to self-harm and suicidality
•Providing leadership and clinical direction to other psychologists, clinical staff and multidisciplinary teams
Minimum Qualifications
•Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology AND
•Licensure as a psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology
oDoctoral level graduates working towards licensure may be hired on a provisional basis and receive supervision under a licensed MSOP Psychologist to obtain licensure
•Experience providing individual therapy, and familiarity with residential treatment, forensic populations, and court processes

Position Description:

Security Counselors provide supervision to clients who are civilly committed to the Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP). In this role, the Security Counselor utilizes a team approach to ensure a safe, secure and therapeutic environment in which the clients work towards successful community reintegration. Working in this environment may present a variety of unique and unforeseen situations which require the Security Counselor to respond in a calm manner that de-escalates and prevents potentially dangerous situations.
Job duties and responsibilities for the Security Counselor position includes:
To ensure safety, security, and control is maintained within the facility through consistent and systematic application of established policies/procedures.
To provide and ensure consistent, fair and humane treatment of clients during the course of daily activities.
To provide and receive information in an accurate, timely and dependable manner.
To be competent in the use of security, electrical, mechanical, electronic, and all other equipment associated with the position.
To be prepared for and respond to any unusual or emergency situations.
To act in a professional manner and set a good example both on and off the job.
To use time wisely and to the benefit of the facility.
To be knowledgeable of and support facility post orders, operating guidelines, instructions, security procedures, and division directives that apply to the duties assigned and to enhance operational methods.
To qualify applicants must have:
A High School diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age and least ONE of the following in order to qualify for further consideration:
One or more years of full-time work experience in ANY field; OR
Two or more years of part-time work experience in ANY field.
