Position Description:

As a qualified teacher, you can play an essential role as part of a team seeking to share the love of Jesus Christ in remote areas. MAF teachers provide quality instruction for the children of MAF missionaries, enabling families to serve in strategic locations.

MAF places teachers in a number of school settings, ranging from small one-room, multi-grade classrooms to larger international schools. Needs vary from year to year. If you have a U.S. or ACSI (Association of Christian Schools, Int’l) teacher certification you may qualify for a short-term role. A minimum of one year teaching full-time is preferred. A minimum commitment is one school year, and after that, teachers may move into a long-term position with MAF.

Accepted Majors:

Job Categories:

Business/Managerial Economics| Computer & Information Sciences, General| Computer Science & Programming| Divinity/Ministry| Elementary Education

Position Description:

MAF pilot/mechanics and aircraft mechanics use their skills to share the love of Jesus Christ with isolated people. Whether flying indigenous pastors to a church conference, conducting a lifesaving medical evacuation, or transporting food, supplies and materials to support a remote community, MAF pilots bring hope and healing through the holistic ministry of MAF.

MAF is always looking for long-term missionaries—however, due to the nature and locales of MAF’s work these pilots must meet certain standards. MAF pilot/mechanics fly in very remote and often rugged locations, so it is essential that they are able to maintain their aircraft. Because of this, we have limited opportunities for pilots without an A&P license.

Position Description:

The Information Technology Division is a community of disciples who are passionate about using information technology (IT) to connect the remotest parts of the earth to Jesus Christ.

Our technical specialists work to advance the kingdom of God among unreached people groups by supporting our aviation programs and the day-to-day systems that keep MAF running.

The Information Technology Division has technical positions that fulfill several roles, both on the field and at the U.S. headquarters—providing support for servers, networks, internet and security, as well as technical flight support that keeps MAF planes in the air. MAF also employs local tech specialists at its overseas locations, and provides technical training and spiritual discipleship.

Information Technology keeps whole IT systems functioning and provides PC and phone support for both headquarters and overseas staff. In-country technical staff also provide IT and internet support to orphanages, hospitals, mission partners, and MAF missionaries, ensuring that they have the technical tools they need to build the kingdom of God.
