We are actively seeking college students who are looking for a Sales Internship position. Metro Sales provides an excellent sales training program.
As a Sales intern, you will be given impactful project-based assignments that directly align with business objectives. Some of the projects may encompass activities like: market opportunity & competitive analysis, Dealer & Customer sentiment, profitability analysis for new businesses, pricing, promotions and events, to name a few.
What You Will Do:
Work with a supportive, collaborative and fun team of sales professionals.
Ability to sell value by helping customers envision how technology can save them money and/or increase productivity.
An affinity for technology so you can use it to solve business problems.
Telephone prospect in designated territory to set firm times for needs analysis appointments with decision makers.
Accompany salespeople on needs analysis & demonstration appointments to learn through observation and discussion before and after each appointment.
Conduct needs analysis, demonstration and closing appointments with their manager.
Assist and conduct key operator training sessions on new equipment installations.
Required Skills:
Must be a Sophomore or Junior in college who is highly motivated to pursue outside sales career.
Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation are key to success.
High drive/energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must demonstrate sound judgement and decision-making ability.
Computer proficiency in MS Office, e-mail and internet functions.
No previous sales experience required.
Proven strength in the following: analysis and creative problem solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership.
