Directions and Map
View the map on the bottom of the page or visit Minneapolis's website for directions.
Unloading (street level)
If you need to unload any materials prior to parking, pull into the curved unloading access road off 2nd Avenue (near Ballroom A/B). Park next to the curb on the access road to unload. Enter the building and follow the signs to Exhibit Hall A (lower level). Take the escalator/elevator (located around the side of the UPS Store) to the lower level.
Unloading (lower Level)
To unload your materials on the lower level ramp, stop next to the marshal guard station which is located off of 16th Street on the right. Let the guard know you are dropping off materials for the Minnesota Private Colleges Job Fair. The marshal guard will give you a pass to allow your vehicle into the lower level for unloading for up to 30 minutes. You will be entering the Convention Center in the back of Exhibit Hall A. After unloading, drive back up the ramp and park on the street level in one of the parking ramps available near the Convention Center.
Visit https://www.minneapolis.org/minneapolis-convention-center/attendees/public-event-parking-options/ to find all available public parking options for the Minneapolis Convention Center. The MCC has partnered with four City of Minneapolis parking ramps to increase attendee convenience. All ramps are connected through the skyway system and are located within two blocks of the MCC.
You can also download the MPLS Parking App to reserve and pay for your parking spot beforehand.
*Parking costs are the responsibility of the employer.
Direct shipments to the Convention Center are strongly discouraged, as the Convention Center does not accept direct shipments. You can ship your materials prior to the fair however, through the job fair decorator: Fern.
Fern has been selected as the official service contractor for the event. Shipping information along with other drayage, ordering, material handling, and other exhibitor services information will be emailed by a Fern service member to the contact person on your registration. If you haven't yet received this information or for questions about shipping and ordering, contact:
Fern Exhibitor Account Manager
Wi-Fi and Audio Visuals
Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided at the job fair. Connect to “Private Colleges WiFi”. Available on all floors of the job fair. The Minneapolis Convention Center also offers free Wi-Fi (wireless Internet service) in all first level lobbies.
If you need any equipment rental or audio visuals for your exhibit booth, visit Minneapolis Convention Center Services or call 612.335.6550.
