  • Where is the job fair held in the Convention Center?
    The job fair is held in Exhibit Hall A. Exhibit Hall A is located on the lower level of the Minneapolis Convention Center two levels below the street level.   • Where do I park and unload my materials?
    For information on directions, unloading, and parking, visit https://www.mnpcfair.org/accommodations or see below. Address Minneapolis Convention Center Room: Exhibit Hall A (Lower level) 1301 Second Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55403 Directions and Map View the map on the bottom of the page or visit Minneapolis's website for directions. ​ Unloading (street level) If you need to unload any materials prior to parking, pull into the curved unloading access road off 2nd Avenue (near Ballroom A/B). Park next to the curb on the access road to unload. Enter the building and follow the signs to Exhibit Hall A (lower level). Take the escalator/elevator (located around the side of the UPS Store) to the lower level. Unloading (lower Level) To unload your materials on the lower level ramp, stop next to the marshal guard station which is located off of 16th Street on the right. Let the guard know you are dropping off materials for the Minnesota Private Colleges Job Fair. The marshal guard will give you a pass to allow your vehicle into the lower level for unloading for up to 30 minutes. You will be entering the Convention Center in the back of Exhibit Hall A. After unloading, drive back up the ramp and park on the street level in one of the parking ramps available near the Convention Center. ​ Parking Visit https://www.minneapolis.org/minneapolis-convention-center/attendees/public-event-parking-options/ to find all available public parking options for the Minneapolis Convention Center. The MCC has partnered with four City of Minneapolis parking ramps to increase attendee convenience. All ramps are connected through the skyway system and are located within two blocks of the MCC. You can also download the MPLS Parking App to reserve and pay for your parking spot beforehand.
  • What is the schedule for the job fair?

  • How do reps check in onsite?
    For security reasons, every rep attending the job fair must check in at the Employer Check In desk outside of room Exhibit Hall A (lower level) and complete a name badge. We do not need the names of reps in advance.
  • How many reps can I have at my exhibit booth?
    To be fair to other organizations attending, we allow up to five (5) reps per 10’ X 10’ exhibit booth. Reps can swap out throughout the day as needed. For security reasons, each attending rep needs to check in at the Employer Check In desk outside of room Exhibit Hall A (lower level) to complete a name badge when they arrive. We do not need the names of reps in advance.
  • What is included in my exhibit booth?
    Registration includes: One (1) 10' x 10' draped exhibit booth One (1) 6’ x 30” draped table Two (2) thermal chairs One (1) waste basket Organization ID sign with booth number Two (2) lunch tickets. *We allow up to five (5) reps per exhibit booth. *You can view example pictures of the exhibit space here.
  • Can I purchase more lunch tickets?
    Two (2) lunch tickets are included with registration. You may purchase additional lunch tickets prior to the fair via registration. You can also add additional lunch tickets to your registration by emailing brenton@togevents.com.
  • Can I ship materials to the job fair?
    You can find specific shipping instructions at https://www.mnpcfair.org/accommodations. Shipping​ Direct shipments to the Convention Center are strongly discouraged, as the Convention Center does not accept direct shipments. You can ship your materials prior to the fair however, through the job fair decorator: Fern. ​ Shipping Instructions Fern has been selected as the official service contractor for the event. Shipping information along with other drayage, ordering, material handling, and other exhibitor services information will be emailed by a Fern service member to the contact person on your registration.   • What is the last day to change or cancel my registration?
    Payment Deadline All invoices must be paid by February 1 to secure your spot at the fair. Registrations will remain in a pending status until a payment has been received. Employer registration will remain open until the job fair is filled. Changes, Cancellation, and Refunds You can update your hiring information by logging back into your registration until February 1. For changes after this date, email Brenton Rice at brenton@togevents.com. For any changes to your registration regarding exhibit booths, lunch tickets, electricity, or other accommodations, email Brenton Rice at brenton@togevents.com. The last day to cancel and receive a refund is February 1. No refunds will be given after this date. To cancel your registration, email Brenton Rice at brenton@togevents.com. Due to the cancellation policy enforced by the Minneapolis Convention Center, this event will not be cancelled due to weather or any other reason unless due to fire, casualty, acts of God, acts of terrorism, strikes, lockouts, boycotts, labor disputes, national emergency, state, or local emergency orders.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    The last day to cancel and receive a refund is February 1. No refunds will be given after this date. To cancel your registration, email Brenton Rice at brenton@togevents.com.   • I need a hotel room. Where should I stay?

  • Can I interview at the fair?
    We no longer offer interview booths at this event. You can interview students directly at your exhibit booth. Any interviews outside of your exhibit booth must take place outside of the private event space. Interviewing in any other area of the exhibit hall is not permitted.
  • What students are eligible to attend?
    Only current students and recent 2024 graduates enrolled at one of the participating eighteen Minnesota Private Colleges are eligible to attend. You can view the list of participating colleges/universities at https://www.mnpcfair.org/participating-colleges-universities.
  • Is there free Wi-Fi at the job fair?
    Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided at the job fair. Connect to “Private Colleges WiFi”. Available on all floors of the job fair.   • Where do I find my exhibit booth number?
    To view booth assignments and the job fair floor plan, visit https://www.mnpcfair.org/booths. The job fair committee will assign exhibit booths about two weeks prior to the event. To be fair to all attending organizations, exhibit booth assignments are decided based upon your registration date. Exhibit booths will be posted at https://www.mnpcfair.org/booths and sent out when they have been assigned.
