The City of Minneapolis lifted regulations requiring COVID-19 vaccinations or negative tests to enter food, drink establishments effective immediately.

Effective immediately, the City of Minneapolis is rescinding emergency regulations requiring people entering food and drink establishments to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test. The end of the mandate comes as COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are trending downward.

The Minneapolis Convention Center is currently enforcing a mask mandate. You can find more health and safety information from them at https://www.minneapolis.org/minneapolis-convention-center/safety-updates/.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey issued the following guidance: As of August 4, 2021, any individual who is over age two and able to medically tolerate a face covering is required to wear a mask or cloth face covering inside all buildings and facilities owned or operated by the City of Minneapolis, including the Minneapolis Convention Center. This is in accordance with City of Minneapolis and CDC guidance regardless of vaccination status.
