  • The City of Minneapolis has announced an emergency regulation, requiring customers of any place of public accommodation where food and/or drink is sold for on-site consumption – including the Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC) – to show proof of a completed vaccination series or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the last 72 hours. Booster shots are not required. This regulation goes into effect on Wednesday, January 26, for ticketed events at the MCC.

  • Guests entering the Minneapolis Convention Center and job fair areas (except for the M100 food/beverage room) do not need to show proof of a completed vaccination series or proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

  • Any guest entering the M100 food/beverage room on the Mezzanine level is required to show proof of a completed vaccination series or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the last 72 hours. Booster shots are not required.

  • The M100 food/beverage room is a separate area from the job fair so only employer reps wishing to eat/drink at the fair will need to show proof. This room includes all catered food and beverages offered at the fair for employers during the fair, including coffee, light breakfast, and employer lunch for those with lunch tickets. Guests not able to show vaccination proof or negative test will not be allowed in the food/beverage room.

  • The Private Colleges will provide staff to verify every rep’s vaccination series or proof of a negative COVID-19 test entering the M100 food/beverage room. Wrist bands will also be utilized to avoid having to double check verification.
