Term based positions, usually lasting 3 months for the summer or 1 year. Can do more than one term. AmeriCorps - Onsite Volunteer Facilitator

Our Mission: To eliminate poverty housing from the Twin Cities and to make decent, affordable shelter for all people a matter of conscience.

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to create and preserve homeownership in our neighborhoods, to partner with hard-working, low-income families to be successful homeowners, and to inspire action that promotes affordable housing for everyone in our community.

We’re best known for our Homeownership program where volunteers build and rehab simple, quality homes in partnership with low-income families and the community. We sell the homes with affordable mortgages, making a 30-year commitment to each new homeowner and to the community in which they live. We also preserve homeownership by helping low-income homeowners repair and maintain their homes through our A Brush with Kindness (ABWK) program.

The Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity AmeriCorps members receive a living allowance to serve full-time, building strength and stability alongside homebuyer families, all while gaining real-world experience. AmeriCorps members engage with thousands of volunteers throughout the year and are integral to our mission. As an AmeriCorps member, you can serve in a leadership role on an active build site assisting families, volunteers, and staff. By taking on new challenges and seeing the results of your service, you will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and have some fun along the way.
