Position Description:

As a Direct Care Professional (DCP), you are responsible for meeting the emotional and physical needs of the people we support, being a positive role model, and helping them meet their personal goals. You will be assisting them with their daily living skills such as self-care, meals, transportation, and medical needs. You will also accompany them on a variety of recreational and leisure-time activities.

Examples of tasks completed on shift:

- Preparing and passing medications (we will train you)
- Assisting residents at meal times

Flexible PT and FT hours available - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Convenient 4-6-8 hour shifts available for flexibility with class schedules. Full-time employees are eligible for full benefits.

*NEW PAY SCALES* have the pay rates starting up to $21/hour base pay. PLUS certain house specific rate exception differentials can increase rate of pay up to an additional $2/hr. Rates are as follows:

**The Awake Night Overnight pay rates apply to the hours worked between 10p - 6a

ACR provides high-quality home healthcare and assistance for people with disabilities in over 40 locations throughout the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN metro area. The Weekend Direct Care Professional (WDCP) position is very similar to a Direct Support Professional or DSP position in that you are responsible for meeting the emotional and physical needs of the people we support, being a positive role model, and helping them meet their personal goals. You will be assisting ACR residents with daily living including personal and health care needs, meals, transportation, and recreational and leisure activities specifically on the weekends.

As a WDCP, you are eligible for full benefits (outlined below) while working part-time hours at 30-32 hrs/weekend.

The Residential Supervisor (RS) position is not a typical "punch the clock" type of position but rather a lifestyle that allows you to have a more flexible work schedule including the possibility of some work from home. The RS manages and maintains all aspects of the group home. Examples of tasks you would be completing as an RS:

- being on-call for shifts during the weekdays and some weekends/holidays; supervising and scheduling the staff in the home (typically 10-20 people); - working at least 2 direct care shifts per week (often it's more than 2, however hours worked above and beyond your contracted direct care hours will be paid at $25/hour). This typically means working some evening, weekend and holiday hours;

- supervision of staff; - creating a monthly work schedule for the Direct Care Professionals at your home and ensuring that all the shifts are covered;

- assisting in training of new staff;

- conducting staff meetings;

- household operations including grocery shopping, ordering medications and supplies, delegation and oversight of certain tasks to direct care staff;

- working with parents, guardians, social workers, day programs, and healthcare professionals to create the best plan of care possible for each resident; - scheduling and taking residents to medical and dental appointments;

- assisting the residents in completing goals;

- various administrative tasks (e.g. creating program plans, follow up on medical appointments, monthly and annual resident reports, managing the budget); -maintaining the house and grounds; - and making sure staff and the house meet licensing requirements

The Benefits:

We currently have a $5,000 Hiring Bonus for the Residential Supervisors (RS) position. You will receive $1,000 after you have completed your RS training and $4,000 6 months after you've completed the training.

In addition to the Hiring Bonus, we also have a FREE HOUSING option, a very competitive salary which includes health care coverage, FREE Nice Healthcare, and a generous retirement plan.

The RS has the option to live at the ACR home they manage RENT FREE with utilities included. Live-in supervisors and their spouse/children (if applicable) live rent-free in an apartment on the upper or lower level of the home separate from the level the residents live on. Live-in apartments can comfortably fit a family and include 2-3 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, kitchen/dining area, living room, laundry room, off street parking, and typically outdoor access to either the ground floor or deck. The value of living rent-free is HUGE and TAX FREE, with an estimated savings of over $24,000/yr. Starting salary at $45,000/year for the first 2 years and $48,250/year for third year and beyond, plus the previously mentioned free living expenses offered--a $24,000 value, + $25/hour for additional direct care beyond requirement.

RS/IRS Annual Base Salary increases as follows:

RS Annual Base Salary: $45,000/year; after two full years this increases to $48,250
Interim RS (IRS) Annual Base Salary: $53,000/year; after two full years this increases to $56,250

Position Description:

This is a team approach to our standard Residential Supervisor role. Residential Supervisors supervise 10-25+ exceptional direct care staff and manage the group home program including being an advocate, managing all household operations, and overseeing care for the individuals who have disabilities who live there. The Residential Supervisor is either a live-in or live-out position. Live-in Residential Supervisors (and their spouse and children, if applicable!) live on site rent-free in a 2-3 bedroom live-in area of the home.

Working along side a co-residential supervisor, this partnership would include 2 supervisors co-leading a home. On-call responsibilities, appointments, administrative work, and meetings would be divided between the two individuals.

24-hour on-call coverage would be required between the 2 co-supervisors. For example, 1 supervisor could be on-call for a week, then they would be "off-call" the following week when their co-supervisor takes over. Both supervisors would be full-time each week between administrative and direct care work. Both supervisors would have a 28-hour direct care requirement per week.
