This internship position will be responsible for maintaining and satisfying commercial insurance requirements by tracking various deadlines related to insurance renewals and other insurance department tasks. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detailed and driven to meet various deadlines while working independently on assigned workload, insuring accuracy remains a priority. A disciplined individual who is driven to enhance and maintain quality processes, while demonstrating problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks, will excel at this position. Ongoing training is provided as part of the position to ensure expertise within the team and department. Additional responsibilities, including a summer intern project and multiple other projects, may be added as job expertise is demonstrated.

Position Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule own workload to most efficiently meet benchmarks.
Provide premier customer service to lenders, borrowers, agents, and other Northmarq staff.
Monitor and collect evidence of insurance, other policy documentation, and the premium invoice for escrowed loans upon policy expiration.
Create, maintain, and update commercial mortgage insurance files.
Complete review of insurance renewal certificates and identify coverage deficiencies.
Monitor and maintain several reports and the Insurance Team’s Outlook inbox.
Disburse insurance premiums from applicable escrow accounts and determine course of action in the event of insufficient funds.
Participate in the Summer Intern Team Project with the other Northmarq interns and present to Senior Management.
Commitment to attend weekly mentor meetings, team/department meetings, and networking meetings with Senior Management.
Perform other reasonable tasks/projects and assist our Insurance (Analyst) Teams, as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the finance, insurance, math, real estate or accounting areas.
Prior internship and/or office experience preferred.

Northmarq is looking for a Capital Services Assistant Administrator I to join its Capital Services department in the Minneapolis (Bloomington, MN) headquarters office. This position will provide support and work directly with Managing Director and Director of Underwriting of Capital Services in multiple areas.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides support and work directly with Managing Director and Director of Underwriting in Capital Services
Maintain pipelines and contacts in excel, outlook and salesforce
Borrower due diligence research – conduct LexisNexis, OFAC, Freddie & FHFA exclusionary list searches
Create Freddie Mac loan delivery and purchase coordination documentation
Office management; ordering supplies, maintaining files, and working with vendors
Third party data base contract coordination including adding and removing users for several vendors
Loan document execution coordination – notarize and obtain signatures for loan documents
Electronically deliver loan packages to servicing

Due to fast business growth, Northmarq is hiring a Client Support Analyst to join its Servicing department in the Minneapolis, MN (Bloomington) headquarters office. This is an opportunity for a customer service focused individual who can provide support to our external clients utilizing our Borrower/Lender Portals as well as our internal clients, addressing internal requests while maintaining data integrity within our Servicing System.

Position Responsibilities:

Setup, maintenance and customer service for our clients (Borrowers and Lenders) through our Client and Lender Portals.
Onboarding and setup of new users in Client Portal and Lender Portal.
Resolve client issues or concerns quickly and effectively.
Provide live one-on-one software training sessions for clients.
Make recommendations based on client feedback to IT for further development of the Client Portal.
Servicing system support for internal clients, ensuring data integrity and appropriate security.
Onboarding/offboarding of personnel in Servicing System.
Processing Servicing System data update requests.
Follow up with internal Team Members to address requests and help answer customer questions.
Monitor and address emails from group email inboxes.
Complete additional projects as assigned while providing premier customer service to external and internal customers.
Plan and schedule own workload to meet deadlines.
Perform other reasonable tasks/projects as assigned by management, per evolving business needs.

What We're Looking For:

Two year degree, preferably a four year degree or related experience
1 to 3 years of office experience. At least 1 year of previous telephone customer service experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word.
Able to quickly learn new software and systems, able to provide support to internal and external clients.
Excellent customer service orientation.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

This internship position will gain exposure to multiple facets of the Operations Department by completing a rotational program with 3 teams within the Loan Operations department. The position will be responsible for property surveillance reviews, new loan onboarding, satisfactions, and UCC administration, amongst other tasks assigned. Position Responsibilities:

Review and assess commercial property inspections conducted by third party vendors and regional offices
Assist the new loan onboarding team with onboarding new loans onto the servicing system by reviewing loan documents and accurately inputting data into the system to ensure proper servicing of the loan
Assist with ensuring loans have UCC statements filed, continued, and terminated in conformity with investor and company regulations
Assist the Investor Accounting team with reconciling bank accounts, and additional projects as needed.
Coordinate satisfaction process for paid in full loans, while ensuring lenders execute releases in a timely manner
