What is Customer Success at SPS Commerce? |
The SPS Commerce Customer Success team is Obsessed with Customers. They are consultative by nature and help our customers to propel forward with the challenges of the ever-changing Retail environment. The Customer Success team responds to customer issues and helps with implementing and maintaining customer accounts.
What does the day-to-day look like in Customer Success? |

Associate Customer Support Analysts (ACSAs) are the primary point of contact for our retail customers and their trading partners to address questions and resolve issues through phone calls, emails, and web chats and help to ensure customers understand the value that the SPS Commerce product brings to their business. This role acts as a trusted advisor, product expert, and customer advocate.
Associate Consultants (ACs) are responsible for designing, developing, and testing product solutions with SPS customers. Associate Consultants work with new customers to set up our software platform as part of our “go live” process and manage the customer relationship until they are successfully onboarded with SPS Commerce.

Inbound Sales Representatives are responsible for generating new leads and sales opportunities by engaging with prospective customers through organic inbound inquiries and marketing-driven inbound campaigns. Inbound Sales Representatives play a critical role of qualifying and distributing leads to the SPS Sales Team to help grow revenue.
Community Account Executives (CAEs) contact retail industry leads generated by our internal sales team to maximize the opportunity of our retailer partner programs by driving new potential sales, cross-selling, and up-selling. The SPS Community Team helps our Retail partners and their Suppliers with the data needed to improve supply chain collaboration and create an efficient replenishment order process.
Associate Account Executives (AAEs) proactively prospect new customers and utilize a consultative sales approach to learn, understand, and uncover sales opportunities by asking appropriate questions to understand a prospective customers’ business needs. The Supplier Sales Team guides through mentorship as you grow your earnings potential and transition into a territory of your own.

What does the day-to-day look like in Technology? |
Associate Software Engineers design, develop, document, test, deploy, and debug new and existing software and collaborate as a part of the scrum engineering team to introduce new concepts and technologies into the SPS product. Associate Software Engineers partner with tenured Software Engineers and are guided through mentorship as they learn modern tools for software engineering in a cloud environment, deliver fully functional code to our production environments, gain an understanding of how the stack works, and build experience and knowledge in all facets of development.
Associate Business Analysts contribute to the development cycle of SPS products and services in the Trading Partner Development’s Network team. Associate Business Analysts manage the initial design/build, ongoing changes, bug fixes, as necessary, and will contribute to a range of design-related activities. The Trading Partner Development (TPD) team owns the maps and forms that are used to transform the data our customers use to exchange information with their trading partners and are built with the intent to be used by multiple customers to fulfill our commitment to multi-tenancy.
